There is also a historic Homestead Cabin, five log cabins, and three lodge condos. All rooms include tea and coffee facilities, a sitting area, a dining table, a patio, and garden furniture. Bathrooms have free toiletries. Apartments add a kitchen with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. Select apartments feature a fireplace. All rooms include a flat-screen TV with cable channels and carpeted floors. Dog-friendly units are available, equipped with a dog bed and dog bowls.
Dining at the Resort
The Crooked Tree Tavern & Grill sources local and organic ingredients for its dishes. The tavern offers period cedar walls and original woodwork. The menu features home-style cooking. Leisure and Activities
Cooper Spur Mountain Resort provides access to the Mt. Hood National Forest, with hiking and biking trails. In winter, the resort offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails for beginner to advanced levels. All lodging guests receive free access to our Nordic trails and free snowshoe rentals. A shaded gaming pavilion includes ping pong tables, Giant Jenga, and Connect Four. There are also tennis, volleyball, basketball, and horseshoe areas. Guests receive a voucher to Mt. Hood Meadows Scenic Chairlift rides.
Location and Access
The resort is located on the north side of Mt. Hood, adjacent to the Mt. Hood National Forest. Nearby landmarks include Tamanawas Falls Trailhead (3 km), Cooper Spur Ski and Tubing Area (3 km), and Tilly Jane Sno Park (2 km). Portland International Airport is 100 km away. The resort is near the Fruit Loop Scenic Drive and downtown Hood River.
Services and Facilities
Cooper Spur Mountain Resort provides free wireless internet. Pack-n-Play cribs are available for $20 per stay. The resort offers catering and party options for gatherings. The Ski Area is available from mid-May to mid-September, accommodating up to 60 guests. Composting and recycling are a top priority. Vending area is located in the upper, south part of our lodge between Condos 6 and 7.
